Hello everyone, my name is Nurindah Lestari, and I am the founder of Nurindah Disability Services. Together with my husband who has experience as a Nurse in the Aged Care Sector, we started “Nurindah Disability Services” on the 6th of November 2023, but its journey started many years before that. This company was inspired because of our son who is living with a disability, and we had to go through the challenges of finding the right services for our son and the difficulty of how to navigate NDIS was never easy. Since then, we found our passion for helping other families to source the services they need for their special needs children.
The experience that we have provided us with the knowledge and experience that we have applied to develop many engaging programs for Nurindah Disability Services. I believe “It takes a village to raise a child”, means we will collaborate with the family/carers/guardians and other Allied Health Professionals to tailor the right services and programs to support our participants to meet their needs and achieve their goals aligned with their NDIS Plan. I am so excited to share this amazing journey with you.
We both have a bubbly friendly personality and always enjoy having fun conversations while providing support to the families and participants. In our spare time, you will find us on the beach with family, we also love gardening, shopping, going to the park or nature places, going to the zoo, visiting some special events in the community and socialising with our friends.
Our goal is to aid those who live with disabilities to learn new skills, improve their ability, gain independence, and be empowered to reach their dreams and goals. Supporting others brings us so much joy, and we love to see the people that we support thrive and learn whilst also having fun.
Nurindah Disability Services is located in the Pakenham suburb of Southeast Melbourne and happily will service surrounding areas to support families to access services and navigate the journey of the NDIS.
